Scott G. Brogan, owner and CEO of the Scott Brogan Group, has over 20 years of experience in serving the architecture and design communities. He is an expert in hardwood veneer and veneer products, and he has built up an extensive global network of first-class suppliers and manufacturers of veneer and finished wood products. Born in Kentucky and raised in Indiana, Mr. Brogan received a B.A. in music education from Indiana University. Following college, Mr. Brogan went to Germany and apprenticed with the Danzer Group, a leader, at the time, in the hardwood veneer and lumber industry.

At Danzer, Mr. Brogan trained in all stages of the manufacturing, grading, and distribution process. Upon returning to the United States, Mr. Brogan joined the David R. Webb Company, Inc., the American arm of the Danzer Group. Within a few years, he had worked his way up to Architectural Sales Director, serving first the markets in New York and Boston, and later those in Washington D.C.

Passionate about the beauty and quality of the wood he was selling as well as the final products created out of it, Mr. Brogan decided several years ago to branch out on his own. He founded the Scott Brogan Group to provide his clients with a one-stop shop where they could access the finest raw materials and the most skilled craftsmen.

In 2008, Mr. Brogan started the first member of SBG, Brogan Wood Products, providing the American market with quality veneer and veneer products. And in 2011, Mr. Brogan added Intermezzo, which links his clients to a global network of suppliers and manufacturers.
